Busy Night Lasagna
A perfect dinner for a busy night!
1 pkg. fresh tortellini (cheese filled)
1 jar pasta sauce
1/2 lb. ground beef (use more beef for meatier sauce, if desired)
1 c. grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef. Add pasta sauce to cooked beef and heat through. Drain cooked tortellini and return to pot. Add meat sauce to pasta in pot and stir.
Pour pasta & sauce mixture into a casserole dish.
Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, until sauce is bubbly. Broil to brown cheese if necessary.
Let stand several minutes before serving.
Makes 4 servings. Delicious served with a green salad and garlic toast.
Leftover portions can be frozen individually for convenient lunches.
