CELERY ROAST

Ingredients:

1 scant C. whole wheat bread crumbs
1 1/2 C. celery
1 large onion
1/4 bunch parsley
1/2 green bell pepper
3/4 C. walnuts
4 medium mushrooms
Pinch of sage
1 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
3 T. melted butter
1 1/2 C. milk

Grind celery, onion, parsley, green pepper, walnuts and mushrooms. Add crumbs, which have been ground fine, sage and salt.

Beat eggs. Add milk and butter. Pour over ground ingredients. Let stand 20 minutes and then bake for 45 minutes at 350º to 375ºF in a greased baking dish.
