1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter with brown sugar in a small mixing bowl; add flour and nuts.
Mix to make a crumb mixture. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remainder into bottom of 8 inch square pan.
Filling:
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
2 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Mix well and beat until creamy. Pour over crumb mixture. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over filling. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes.
