DECADENT TRIPLE LAYER MUD PIE
3 sq. semisweet baking chocolate, melted
1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
One ready-crust - preferably Oreo
1/2 c. toasted chopped pecans (optional)
2 c. cold milk
2 pkgs. (4-serving size) chocolate flavor instanr pudding and pie filling
8 oz. tub cool whip
Mix melted chocolate and condensed milk until well blended; pour into crust; sprinkle with pecans. Combine milk and pudding; whisk until well blended - about 2 minutes. Mixture will be thick.
Spoon 1 1/2 c. pudding over pecans in crust.
Add half of cool whip to remaining pudding; whisk to blend well. Spread over pudding; top with remaining cool whip.
Refrigerate 3 hours.
