½ cup finely chopped dill
½ cup finely chopped green part of scallions
½ cup vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp white vinegar
Tabasco sauce to taste
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Put dill and scallions into container of food processor and add oil. Blend thoroughly.
Put yolk, mustard and vinegar into mixing bowl and start beating with a wire whisk. Add the dill-scallion mixture, a tbsp or so at a time, beating rapidly with whisk. Beat until thickened. Add Tabasco, salt and pepper.
