Dilly pasta salad

1 lb of small shell pasta
1 lb ham, diced
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb green peas, frozen
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp california blend garlic salt
2 tbs fresh dill, chopped

Cook the pasta. Before you strain the pasta add the frozen peas to the strainer so that they thaw when you pour the pasta and water over them. Cool the pasta by running cold water over it. Drain well. In a large bowl add all the ingredients and mix well. You may need to add more miracle whip and mayonaise to your taste. My family likes it with the 50/50 ratio but yours may like more mayoniase or more salad dressing. Also, in a pinch you can use dried dill - use 2 tsp of dried.
