Easy Black Forest Cobbler
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (2 layer)
3/4 c. butter, softened
4 1/2 c. sifted confectioner’s sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
Slightly beat 1 egg. Add cake mix and butter. Stir until well blended. Press mixture into a greased and floured 9x13 glass baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine confectioner’s sugar, cream cheese, and remaining 2 eggs. Pour over cake mixture. Spread pie filling over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350Â° for 35-40 minutes until outer edges are lightly browned and center is set. Cover and cool in refrigerator. Serve at room temperature.
