8 T. butter
5 c. crushed Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
2 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese
2 1/2 c. chopped ham
Melt butter in skillet. Remove 4 tablespoons and mix well with cereal crumbs. Set aside.
Saute onions in remaining butter until tender. Add soup, cream cheese, and milk. Heat and stir over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in noodles and 3 cups of rice cereal. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with cheese, then with remaining cereal crumbs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
