Jack Daniel’s Whiskey BBQ Glaze

1 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s whiskey

2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

2 beef bouillon cubes

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce (or less, to taste)

  1. In a small sauce pan, combine the pineapple juice, whiskey, brown sugar, beef bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and Tabasco sauce. Cook the mixture over medium heat while stirring, to ensure to well blended mixture.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Allow it to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Continue to stir, to prevent burning and sticking. Once finished, it should have thickened quite a bit.

  3. Remove the pan form the heat and allow to to cool until safe to handle. Transfer it to an air tight container, and refrigerate until ready to use. Glaze on any grilled meat. Makes about 2 cups.
