MEATY CHEESE MANICOTTI
SERVES 6

1 pkg. (8 oz.) manicotti shells, cooked, rinsed, drained
½ lb. Italian sausage
½ lb. ground round
1 med. onion, chopped
½ c. chicken broth
2 c. whipping cream
1 t. Italian seasoning
½ t. salt
½ t. pepper
1 can (14 ½ oz.) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, drained
2 c. shredded mozzarella
¾ c. shredded Parmesan

Fry meats, add broth to deglaze; bring to a boil. Add cream and seasonings. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring often, 15 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, cover and set aside. Combine meat, tomatoes and mozzarella. Stuff shells. Place in 13 X 9-inch pan. Bake, covered, 350* F. for 20 minutes. Uncover and pour creamed mixture over, sprinkle with Parmesan, return to oven for 10 minutes. Broil 5 1/5-inches from heat 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts and is lightly browned.
