MUSHROOM STEW

Ingredients:

1 clove garlic
Vegetable Oil
1 lb. medium Italian sausage
1 can tomato paste
3 cans water
1 can mushrooms (large) or 1 lb. fresh
1 large green pepper
Salt, pepper, oregano

Brown garlic in small amount of oil. Add sausage, tomato paste,
water, mushrooms and pepper. Add salt, pepper and oregano
to taste and simmer approximately 3 hours.

CROCK-POT MUSHROOM STEW

Ingredients:

1 large sirloin steak, cut into small pieces
1 large can peeled tomatoes, broken up
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, cut up coarsely
2 fresh peppers, cut up coarsely
3 or 4 large potatoes, cubed
1 pkg. frozen peas

Place all ingredients except peas in crockpot. Add:

3/4 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper

Cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Add frozen peas last hour.
