Never Fail Pie Crust

1 cup (solid) shortening
1/2 cup boiling water
Beat this together until creamy. Let cool, then add:
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp sugar
3 cups flour or enough to handle easily

Mix well. This makes 2 double crusts or 4 singles. I has never failed for me. Leftover dough can be kept for several days in the refrigerator. Let it come to room temperature before using.
