Orange Tequila Sorbet
4 cup Orange juice
1 cup Sugar, powdered or confectioners’
1/2 cup Tequila
1/2 cup Lime juice
Mix orange juice and sugar together.
Blend in tequila and lime juice.
Place in ice cream maker and freeze. (If you don’t have an ice cream maker, place in a pan in the freezer until just frozen. Remove and break up with a fork until mushy, then return to the freezer.)
Serve in small, individual ramekins or in orange shells with the pulp removed. (To remove pulp, soak in hot water for 10 minutes. Invert and pull the pulp away from the skin.)
