Steak and Gravy
4 pieces cube steak 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 ( 8 oz. ) pkg. sliced mushrooms 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1/2 stick butter flour salt and pepper 1 soup can water
Melt butter in large skillet. Salt and pepper steak, roll in flour. Brown on both sides in butter. Add mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and add to skillet. Bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until steaks are tender. Served with mashed potatoes, cream corn, green peas and whole wheat rolls.
1 can apple pie filling 1 T. brown sugar 1 T. lemon juice 1/2 t. cinnamon 4 brown sugar - cinnamon toaster pastries 1 T. melted butter
In a bowl combine pie filling, cinnamon, lemon juice and brown sugar. Put into greased 8 inch casserole. Crush toaster pasteries and combine with butter. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 350 until bubbly, about 25 minutes.
