Hi everyone! Had a family barbecue and I made Kitchen Witch’s apple spice dump cake. Everyone loved it! I omitted the nutmeg because it gives me heartburn :roll: and there’s already nutmeg in the allspice. I would say that this version is like an apple crisp. I didn’t have any pecans so I used slivered almonds; gave it a nice crunch. I also froze my butter and shredded it ,like you would cheese, and prinkled it all over the cake - this worked well. All in all, not bad!

I have substituted other nuts and also I have left out the nutmeg (not a big fan of nutmeg at all). It’s just a quickie that everyone enjoys!
