Lemon basil vinaigarette

I had dinner at a cute little restaurant on the water here in northern new york a couple of months ago and i ordered a salad with the house special dressing. It was a lemon basil vinaigarette and I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for it.

LEMON VINIAGRETTE

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup olive oil or salad oil or combination – of both
Several grinds of fresh pepper
OPTIONAL
1 teaspoon finely minced shallots or scallions
– and/or
fresh or dried herbs such as chives or – tarragon or basil

Preparation:

Combine lemon juice, salt, mustard and pepper. Whisk in oil and optional shallots, scallions or herbs. Makes 10 Tbsp.

1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 small clove garlic, finely chopped

Preparation:

Shake all ingredients in tightly covered container.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard (dry)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 - 1 teaspoon basil
1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Preparation:

  1. Shake all ingredients in tightly covered containter. 2. If desired, refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
