RUBEN DIP

1 Cup drained and shredded Sauerkraut (the kind in the plastic bags in meat dept. if possible).
1 Cup mayonnaise
8 oz. shredded Velvetta cheese
8 oz. shredded swiss cheese
8 oz. corned beef – diced

Mix everything together and pour into ungreased baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serve with assorted crackers.

** NOTE: You can cook in crockpot on low heat for 3-4 hours.

BetK your Ruben Dip sounds really good! My husband makes a killer Ruben sandwich…I’m going to share this recipe with him. I think he’d love to try it!

B-man…this ruben is my hubby’s creation and he
turned me onto it a year ago

For each sandwich;

2 slices dark rye bread

Spred miracle whip and horserradish
sauce on each slice

top with either ham or pastrami, 3-6 slices

place 2-3 slices swiss cheese on top of meat
(chedder will work too!)

spread with spicy brown mustard,
(Frenche’s Brand)

mound 2-3 T Sauerkraut onto meat
and top with 2nd slice of bread

Melt butter, 3 T on a grill pan or
skillet and set sandwich in to grill untll
golden brown and very crisp
with cheese melting

Remove to serving plate and
garnish a with garlic pickle

Add a Classi Coke, Lime or Cherry Coke
and you got a great meal or if you’re like
my Dale, add a good, full bodied brewski
